Gary Dale Deering

Gary Dale Deering, 53, of Duncan, Oklahoma, went to be with our Lord on Friday, December 30th, 2022 in Big Springs, Texas.

Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 7th, 2023 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport.

Bro. Bo Johnson will officiate.

Gary was born on July 1st, 1969 to Clyde and Mary Elizabeth (Maddux) Deering in Bridgeport. He worked in the oilfield and was a pump hand for Blackhawk. Gary was united in marriage to Charlene Fenley on May 26, 2002 in Paradise, Texas. Gary loved to fish and boat and spend time outdoors. One of his favorite hobbies was to shop the Walmart clearance sales. He enjoyed visiting with his family, especially his children and grandchildren. Gary was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and much more who will be missed by all that knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Mary Deering; his sister, Stella Davidson; his brothers, Robert Deering and Perry Deering.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 20 years, Charlene Deering; his daughter, Ashley Jenkins; his son, Rick Walton; his daughter, Raven Medley; his son, Zachary Walton; his grandchildren, Mckinze, Ariana and Isaiah Johnson, Astriel, Braylea, Kaila, Cameron and Sadie; his twin-sister, Sherrie Skelton; his sisters Elaine Vislosky, and Elizabeth Long; his brothers, John Deering and Clyde Deering and wife Carla; numerous extended family members and a host of good friends.
