Gary Max Watson

Springtown ~ Gary Max Watson, 61, a construction superintendent, went to be with our Lord Thursday, October 26, 2017 in Weatherford after an almost 3 year battle with lung cancer.

Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Hilltop Assembly of God Church in Boyd with burial in Medlin Cemetery in Trophy Club. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.

Bro Bill Finch will officiate.

Gary was born on May 21, 1956 to Max and Martha (Dudley) Watson in Denton, Texas. He was united in marriage to Patsy Jane Gwartney on June 10, 1999 in Lewisville, Texas. Gary was a member of the Hilltop Assembly of God Church in Boyd.  Gary loved to make people smile. He was a great man with a big heart.

He was preceded in death by his father; his son, Jason Watson; and his brother, Steven Watson.

He leaves behind his wife Patsy who dearly loved him. Anyone who knew them both knew Patsy was loved beyond measure by Gary. Other survivors include his son, Gary Lynn Watson of Weatherford; his daughters, Jessica Watson Schulte and husband Brent of Grandbury, Ashley Watson of Weatherford, bonus daughter, Sabrina Bell and husband Russell of Oklahoma City; his bonus son, Wesley Clepper and wife Misty of Hico; 5 grandchildren; 5 bonus grandchildren; 10 bonus great grandchildren; his mother, Martha Watson of Roanoke; his brothers, Larry Watson and wife Liz of Grapevine, Michael Watson and wife Becky of Justin, Chris Watson and wife Lisa of Weatherford; his sister, Sharon Spaulding and husband Mac of Arkansas;  numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

The family of Gary Watson would like to thank Arrowpoint Facility Service for all you did for him. Also, thanks to Medical City and the wonderful nurses and staff for helping him the best way possible with their loving care.
