Chico ~ Gary Waymire, 69, a retired business owner, entrepreneur and rancher, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, March 23, 2016 in Chico.
Memorial service is 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at the First Baptist Church in Alvord.
Rev. Bill Cleveland will officiate.
Gary was born on December 11, 1946 to Raymond and Cora (Wright) Waymire in Festus, Missouri. He was united in marriage to Kathleen Bange on November 28, 1970 in Festus, Missouri. Gary was a hard working man of integrity. He was a real cowboy and a family man in every sense of the word. Gary was very supportive of organic farming and ranching, young farmers, and the Boy Scouts of America.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 45 years, Kathy Waymire of Chico, Texas; his son, Wes Waymire and wife Erin of Justin, Texas; his daughter, Shelly Waymire of Lewisville, Texas; his grandchildren, Ashley Goforth, Kyle Goforth, Will Waymire, Brooke Waymire, and Harrison Waymire; his sister, Jean Decker and husband Stanley of Festus, Missouri; his brother, Ray Waymire of Arlington, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, and a host of friends.
