Burial: West Bridgeport Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Gene was born April 7, 1926 to Burr and Ettae Wagner Harris in Morning Sun, IA. He married Dorothy Ryan Trammell April 6, 2004 in Decatur. Survivors: Wife, Dorothy Trammell Harris of Bridgeport; daughters, Elaine Wessel of Central City, IA, Jerry Harrisof Burlington, IA; sons, Tim Harris of Overland Park, KS, Mark Harris of Burien of WA; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; step-sons, Danny and Karo Trammell and three step-grandchildren.
