George was born on November 3, 1939 to Thomas and Edith (Crownover) Ball in Fort Worth. He was united in marriage to Elfriede Werner in June of 1975 in Houston. George was a bank examiner for 32 years. He was a graduate of University of Dallas with a dual major in philosophy and business. He attained his private pilot license at the age of 16 and held them for 61 years. George’s true passion was flying his plane with his wife Elfriede.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
Left behind to cherish his memory is his son, George S. Ball Jr. of Dallas, Texas.
