FUNERAL: 10: a.m. Thursday, August 16, 2007 at Coker-Hawkins Chapel in Decatur with Reverend Buddy Ward to officiate. Burial will be in Andice Cemetery with graveside at 3:30.

George was born August 3, 1947 in Liberty Hill, Texas to George Madison, Sr. and Juanita Nichols Martin. He married Linda Dianne Dryer in Houston. He is preceded in death by his wife Linda Dianne and parents George Madison Hicks, Sr. and wife Juanita Nichols Martin.
SURVIVORS: Companion, Beth Ann Stutts of Decatur, sister Nancy Culpepper and her husband Leroy of Azle, brother James Hicks and his wife Melody of Keller, step-father Bill Martin of Saginaw, nephew Scott Hicks of Tulsa, Oklahoma, nieces Lindsey Boggs of North Richland Hills, Missy Harris of Azle, Texas, greatnieces Alexis Harris of Azle, and Makenzi Harris of Azle.
