BRIDGEPORT -- George W. (Bubbie) Wallace, a farmer, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, October 11, 2009, in Bridgeport.
Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Hawkins Funeral Chapel. Burial: Chico Cemetery. Visitation: Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Rev. Gary Sessions will officiate. Pallbearers: G.A. Buckner, Roy Boswell, Leon Moody, Clarence Wallace, Jimmy Wallace, Gene Moody, Shorty Moody, Bodie Brassfield, and Daniel Moody.
George Washington (Bubbie) Wallace was born on February 7, 1923, the son of James Andrew and Bertha Lee (Isbell) Wallace in Oklahoma. He went to be with our Lord on Sunday, Oct. 11, 2009 in Bridgeport .
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Zona Wallace.
Those left behind to cherish his memory: several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
