Paradise ~ Gerald Cleveland, 78, a retired school principle and minister, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, November 20, 2013 in Bridgeport.
Funeral is 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 23, 2013 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Cottondale Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Bro. Danny Russell, Bro. Sam Starr and Bro. Robert Taylor will officiate. Pallbearers include Jim Garrett, Paul Knight, Jay Foster, Todd Meadows, Davis Martin, Mark Neeley, Seth Foster, Coy Cleveland, and Melvin Meadows. Honorary pallbearers are Raymond Meadows, Marvin Crawford, and Ed Culverhouse.
Gerald was born on March 13, 1935 to Omar and Zula (Crawford) Cleveland in Cottondale, Texas. He was united in marriage to Carolyn Kay Hollaway on March 29, 1959 in Baytown, Texas. Gerald graduated from Paradise High School in 1953.He received a Bachelor
