Gina Elizabeth (Hoskins) Johnson

Decatur ~ Gina Elizabeth Hoskins Johnson, 59, went to be with our Lord Monday, February 28, 2022.

Funeral Service is 11 a.m. Friday, March 4, 2022 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Decatur with burial at Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Gina was born April 21, 1962 to Gene Norton and Mary Joyce (Jones) Hoskins in Dallas, Texas. She was united in marriage October 17, 1987 to David Thomas Johnson in Dallas, Texas. Gina was a licensed vocational nurse in the health care industry for many years. She loved arts & crafts, spending numerous hours creating, also going to sell at markets, setting up and selling all kinds of things. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Forney, Texas. Gina was a beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend to many who will miss her dearly.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of over 34 years, David Johnson of Decatur; her son, Andrew Johnson of Decatur, and Taylor Johnson of Decatur; her brothers, Michael Gene Hoskins and wife Karen of Forney, Rex Hoskins and wife Debbie of Decatur, and Kenneth Don Hoskins of Forney; numerous extended family members, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
