BRIDGEPORT -- Glenda Gayle St. John, 61, a retired school teacher, died Wednesday, June 27, 2007 in Denton.
Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 27, 2007 at Hawkins Funeral Chapel with Rev. Mike Miller officiating.
Burial: East Bridgeport Cemetery.
Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers: Dan St. John, Bobby St. John, Terry Reynolds, Chris Bradford, Teddy St. John, and James St. John. Honorary Pallbearer: Raymond St. John
Glenda was born Feb. 26, 1946 in Jack County to Robert S. and Doris Conner Walker. She married Jerry Don St. John Aug. 12, 1965 in Bridgeport. Glenda, a lifetime resident of Wise County, taught 6 years at Paradise Elementary School and 26 years at Bridgeport Elementary and Middle School. She was a Baptist. Survivors: Husband of 42 years: Jerry St. John Sons: Monty St. John and wife Kathy of Bridgeport and Kevin St. John of Bridgeport 5 grandchildren: Amy St. John, Keaton & Keisha St. John, Michah St. John and Rowdy Parker. Brother: Billy Fred Walker and wife Sandra of Bridgeport Sister: LaDarla Keith and husband Clarence of Bridgeport Several nieces and nephews
