Glenda was born on November 30, 1935 to Leo and Margaret (Curry) Hernupont in Borger, Texas. She was united in marriage to Malcolm R. Shepherd Jr. on March 20, 1958 in Weatherford, Texas.
Glenda was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Betsy Collup. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 55 years, Malcolm R. Shepherd Jr. of Paradise; her son, Malcolm R. Shepherd III of Paradise; her grandson, Malcolm R. Shepherd IV, of Decatur; her granddaughter, Cherish Shepherd of Paradise; her great grandchildren, Khiley, Ashton, Braden, and Kenyon; her brother Jack Hernupont, of New Mexico; other family members and a host of friends.
