Glenis Marie Mcdonald

Funeral service is 11 a.m. Thursday, September 23rd at Greenwood Church of Christ with Walter Buchannan officiating. Interment: Newport Cemetery. Family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.

Glenis was born February 15, 1921 near Newport, Texas to Ed and Francis Hays. She was the youngest of ten children born to this family. She was baptized into Christ when she was 12 years of age. Glenis was united in marriage to Thomas Harvey McDonald on February 14, 1950 and was married 42 years at his death.

Thomas and Glenis spent many years in Texas where Thomas preached at various Churches of Christ. In the early 1960
