Chico~ Glenn Wayne Reed, 62, went to be with our Lord on Monday, May 23, 2022 in Chico.

Funeral Service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 26, 2022 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport with burial to follow in Chico Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Pastor Jack McAsey will officiate. Pallbearers are to include, Tony Robbins, Brandt Richey, Thomas Taylor, Glenn Reed, Jr., Matt Reed, Dustin Reed, Craig Jones and David Jones.

Glenn was born on March 24, 1960 to Donald Gene and Clara Sue (Jones) Reed in Big Spring, Texas. He worked as a welder for many years and was owner and operator of R & R Welding. Glenn was a veteran and proudly served our country in the United States Army. He was united in marriage to Pamela Jean Richey on November 12, 2004 in Crafton, Texas. Glenn enjoyed relaxing with his dog Peppy, watching all kinds of sports and listening to radio classics on Sirius radio, cheering on the Dallas Cowboys and he cherished his time with family. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Reed and his brother, Todd Reed.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Pamela Richey Reed of Chico; his sons, Tony Robbins and wife Monica, Brandt Richey and wife Dara, Thomas Taylor and wife Jeanette, Glenn Reed, Jr. and Isaiah Reed; his daughter, Chelsey Strouth and husband Dustin; his mother, Sue Reed; his grandchildren, Logan, Holden, Colton, Gavin and Maddie Robbins, Kelton, and Kaleb Taylor, Sierra Davis, Dusty and Eric Strouth, Alora Reed and one on the way, Kasey Taylor; his brother, Charlie Reed and wife Tammy; his sister-in-law, Barbara Reed; his aunt, Boots Grant; and his uncle, William Reed; numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
