CHICO -- Glinn Edward Morrow, 83, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, June 28, 2009 in Chico.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Hawkins Funeral Chapel. Burial: Cumby Cemetery. Family is to receive friends 6-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
Rev. Ronnie Morrow will officiate. Pallbearers: Leon Gee, Chad Morrow, Trent Hale, Bryan Wyler, Terry Lewis, and James Pollard.
Glinn was born on March 10, 1926, the son of Vester and Myrtle (Cantwell) Morrow, in Elmore, Oklahoma. He served his country in the US Army during WWII. Glinn married Betty Wallace on April 12, 1950 in Bridgeport. He was a retired maintenance man at Chico ISD and a member of the Church of Christ in Chico.
Glinn was preceded in death by his daughter, Sherlyn Hale; 5 brothers; and 2 sisters.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are: his wife of 59 years, Betty Morrow of Chico; sons, Ronnie Morrow and wife Jelaine of Kountze, Joe Morrow and wife Kathy of Bridgeport; six grandchildren, Shannon Wyler, Lori Gee, Chad Morrow, Shawnita Lewis, Kim Van Diver, and Trent Hale; and several nieces and nephews.
