Gloria Camacho-Mata

Decatur ~ Gloria Camacho-Mata, 53, went to be with our Lord Friday, April 12, 2024 in Denton, Texas.

Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Decatur with burial at Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, with Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Father Anto will officiate. Pallbearers include Simon Estrada, Reynaldo Flores, Ernesto Huerta, Omar Banuelos, Martin Banuelos, Luis Alberto Diaz, and Jose del Refugio Jaramillo.

Gloria was born August 8, 1970 to Florencio Camacho and Pureza Mata in Victoria, Guanajuato, Mexico. She was married to Simon Estrada. Gloria was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend to many who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Simon Estrada; her daughters, Silvia Camacho, Anayeli Camacho, Maria Camacho, Maribel Camacho, Maritza Estrada, and Emilia Estrada; her grandchildren, Rigoberto Jaramillo, Jr., Gloria Isabel Banuelos, Yaretzy Diaz, Gabriel Jaramillo, Gael Alexander Diaz, and Diego Omar Banuelos; extended family members and a host of friends.

The family request all those attending the service wear white.
