Gloria (Garcia) Lopez

Decatur ~ Gloria Garcia Lopez, 70, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, February 27, 2018 in Dallas.

Funeral Mass is 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Decatur. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m.  Thursday and 6-8 p.m. Friday at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Decatur with rosary at 7:00 p.m.

Deacon Art Casias will officiate.

Gloria was born on December 30, 1947 to Mike and Irene (Casarez) Garcia in Mathis, Texas. She was united in marriage to Faustino Lopez on September 26 1979.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her brother, and her sister.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Ruben Fabela and wife Paula of Little Elm, Rene Fabela, and Roland Fabela of Decatur, Juan Fabela and wife Ashton of Paradise, Robert Fabela of Benbrook; her daughter, Roseanna Lopez-Casares and husband Ben of Benbrook; her grandchildren, Amanda Fabela, Eric Fabela, Joshua Fabela, Anthony Casares, Ariana Casares; numerous other grandchildren; her great grandchildren, Kaylie Fabela, Bryson Fabela, Adilynn Fabela, and  numerous other great grandchildren; her sister, Maria Elva Garza of Jacksboro, her brother, David Garcia of Benbrook; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
