Funeral is 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 20, 2011 at Grace Fellowship Church in Paradise with burial in West Bridgeport Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.
Rev. Rick Cooper and Mark Moore will officiate. Pallbearers are Jason Paradise and son Cotton, Alvin Peyton and son Aaron, Doug Hudson and son Dalton, Scotty Ford and son Mo Coffman, Tommy Freeman and son John, Kenny Hudson and sons Quinton and Brady, and Bill Cline and sons Mason and Caleb. Honorary pallbearers are Klayton Canova, Wise County Fire Departments, Wise County Law Enforcements, and Wise County EMS.
Grayson was born on April 7, 1999 to William and Robin (Kelton) Garrett in Decatur. He attended Bridgeport Middle School and was a member of Bridgeport FFA and played football for his school.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his parents, Willie and Robin Garrett of Bridgeport; his brother, J.D. Garrett of Bridgeport; his grandparents, Butch and Janet Garrett of Bridgeport, Randy and Corinne Kelton of Boyd; his great grandmothers, Inez Kelton of Tennessee and Frances Force of Bridgeport; his aunt and uncles, Betty and Ronnie Kleam of Bridgeport and Randall Kelton of Fort Worth; his cousins, Kenlee and Kareth Kleam, and Randall Kelton; and numerous extended family and a host of friends.
There is a scholarship fund set up at The Community Bank in Bridgeport.

This poem was sent to my parents when my sister passed away in 1952, I wanted to share it...My God comfort you
"I'll lend you a little while
A child of mine, "God Said-
"For you to love while he lives,
And morn for when he's gone.
It may be six or seven years or forty-two
Or three; but will you, until I call him back,
Take care of him for me?
