Decatur: Gregg Alan Mason, 50, of Decatur, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, November 30, 2008 in Childress, Texas.
Memorial service is 3 p.m. Friday, December 5th at the First United Methodist Church in Decatur with Reverend Thomas Brummett officiating.
Gregg was born November 3, 1958 in Lockport, New York to Cloyce and Adina Kuehne Mason. He married Cynthia Melick on February 16, 1979 in Houston, Texas. He was an aircraft mechanic for American Airlines, former Scout Master of Troop 121 in Decatur, and an avid outdoorsman. Gregg is preceded in death by his father, Cloyce Mason.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 29 years, Cindy Mason of Decatur; daughter, Melanie Mason of Decatur; son, James Mason of Decatur; sister, Lynn Caddell of Houston; two brothers, Charles Mason of Houston, Steven Mason of Connecticut; mother, Adina Mason of Tempe, Arizona; nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
