Bridgeport ~ Guadalupe “Lupe” Martinez Silletti, 82, went to be with our Lord Thursday, May 16, 2024, in Bridgeport.
Service will be held Monday, May 20th, at 10:30 a.m. at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport with graveside to follow at East Bridgeport Cemetery. Family will receive friends Sunday, 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
Rev. Melvin Castleberry will officiate. Pallbearers include Anthony Silletti, Ernie Herrera, Angel Rivera, Brandon Silletti, Oscar Martinez, Kenny Warlow.
Lupe was born November 3, 1941, to Liandro and Effie Martinez in St. Paul, Minnesota. She was united in marriage to the love of her life Anthony Silletti on August 18, 1961, in Oklahoma. Lupe was a seamstress for many years, but took the most pride in being a homemaker for her family. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; two sons, Curtis and Steven Silletti; four brothers, Benny, Freddie, Jessie, and Manuel; six sisters, Juana, Bruna, Deloris, Millie, Francis, and Chima.
Those left behind to cherish her memory include her son, Jeff Silletti and wife Christa of Paradise; her grandchildren, Amanda Rivera and husband Angel of Decatur, Amber Silletti of Decatur and Brandon Silletti and wife Amber of Fort Worth; her great-grandchildren, Mason and Aidan Rivera both of Decatur; her sisters, Rosie Osteguin, Terry Romero, Connie Silletti; her brothers, Joe Martinez, and Raymond Martinez; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
