Decatur ~ Guy Wayne York, 63, of Decatur went to be with his Lord Friday, November 11, 2016 in Decatur, Texas.
A Memorial BBQ will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at the home of his daughter, Christina Kahn, in Greenwood, Texas.
Guy was born November 6, 1953 to Doris Jean Anderson in Houston, Texas. He married Deborah Hoad on August 28, 1984 in Houston, Texas. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and salt water fishing.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 32 years, Debbie York of Decatur; 2 daughters, Christina Kahn and husband Jonathan of Decatur and Natasha Duncan and husband Dave of Longview; son, Nathan Shelley and wife Brandy of Deer Park; 7 grandchildren, Conner, Adalyn, Madison, Ian, Andrew, Abigail, and Micah; and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
