Guy "Ted" L Waggoner

Boyd ~ Guy L. “Ted” Waggoner, Sr., 88, a retired auto body repairman and mechanic went to be with our Lord Wednesday, June 7, 2017 in Weatherford.

Graveside service, 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Perryman Cemetery.

Tony Richardson will officiate. Pallbearers include Mike Burch, Dustin Garland, Tony Richardson, Charlie Richardson, Jeff Biggars, and Robert Lynn.

Ted was born on March 15, 1929 to Wiley D. and Cora Mae (Lightfoot) Waggoner in Mabank, Texas. He was united in marriage to Jackie D. Tinney on November 8, 1952 in Galveston, Texas.  He served his country in the United States Army and was a member of the Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Jackie Waggoner; his sister, Dorothy Walling; brothers, Clarence and Delmar Waggoner and Durwood Heffington.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his son, Guy L. Waggoner Jr. and wife Glenda of Graham; his daughters, Pamela Simmons and husband George of Haltom City, Susan Garland and husband Mike of Forestburg; grandchildren, Michael, Rene, Amanda, Dustin, Leia, Tony, Charlie, Tamee, Tifanie, Trey and Megan; great grandchildren, Cameron, Maddie, Bodee, Cooper, Aislyn, Journey, Adley, Asher, Clover, Coral, Johnathan, Sienna, MacKenzie, Josh, Hunter, Katie, Anna, Guy, Emily, Cole, Phillip, Maylee, Zackery, Bryce, Alex, George, Mary, Myra and Matthew; his brother, Jess L. ”Mutt” Waggoner of San Diego, California; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests Memorial be made to the local library or any worthy charity.
