BRIDGEPORT -- Harlow Hunn, 105, a retired farmer, died Saturday, Sept. 16, 2006 in Bridgeport. Funeral: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hawkins Funeral Chapel. Burial: Wilson Prairie Cemetery. Mr. Hunn married Bessie Lee Shawn July 2, 1926 in Bridgeport. They were united 59 years until her passing on Oct. 21, 1985. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Joyce Stroud; brothers, Jim Ed and Newt Hunn; and sisters, Eliza Davis, Florence Miller, Atrel McElhaney and Ophelia King. He was a member of Carpenter Street Church of Christ and had served as Elder at Cottondale Church of Christ and Cates Street Church of Christ. Survivors: Son, William Robert Hunn and wife, Isabelle of Granbury; daughters, Jewel Crum of Hurst, Alice Doss of Fort Worth, Nell Snow and husband Bill of Hurst, Laura McQuinn of Decatur, Goldie Chilton and husband Jack of Bridgeport, Ann Holt and husband Ronnie of Bridgeport; 17 grandchildren; numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
