Harold Dillinder

February 16, 1929 — October 27, 2016

Bridgeport ~ Harold G. Dillinder, 87, a loving husband, father, and grandfather, went to be with our Lord Thursday, October 27, 2016 in Bridgeport.

Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 31, 2016 at the First Baptist Church in Bridgeport with burial in East Bridgeport Cemetery. Family will receive friends 4-6 p.m. Sunday at Hawkins Funeral Home.

Dr. Craig Erb will officiate.

Harold was born on February 16, 1929 to Loyd and Fatine (Ribble) Dillinder in Graham, Texas. He was united in marriage to Betty Cox on January 3, 1954 in Ranger. Harold proudly served his country as staff sergeant in the United States Air Force. He worked as an exploration supervisor for Enserch for 46 years until his retirement. Harold was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bridgeport.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Betty Cox Dillinder.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughters, Cheryl Manske and husband Lynn of Tomball, Vicki Lehmann and husband Kevin of Bridgeport, Carolyn Wright and husband Randal of Bridgeport; his son, John Dillinder of Bridgeport; his grandchildren, Chris, Leah, Brady, Valerie, Cory, Nik, Drexell and Lindsey; his great grandchildren, Keaton, Layla, Isaac, Keegan, and Kane; his sister, Louise Frasier of Refugio; his sisters-in -law, Delores Cheshire and husband Jimmie of San Antonio; and Faye Cox of Ranger; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
