Funeral is 2 p.m. Thursday, January 5th at the First Baptist Church of Alvord with Rev. Bill Cleveland officiating. Interment: Alvord Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Pallbearers include Avery Barnes, Daniel Ruddick, Royce Ruddick, Junior Gillespie, Chad Patterson and Thomas Baird.
Harold was born January 14, 1918 in Wise County, Texas to Robert Henry and Mytrle (Justice) Gose. He was united in marriage to Alpha Jean Hancock on May 25, 1973. Harold retired from the City of Alvord as Water Superintendent. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Alvord.
Harold is preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Martha Gose; 2nd wife, Alpha Jean Gose; three brothers; and two sisters.
Left behind to cherish his memory are two sons, Ronald Harold Gose and wife Terri of Alvord, James Roy Patrick and wife Paula of Alvord; 5 grandchildren, Nicole Baird, Lauren Gillespie, Aaron Patrick, Mark and Keith Gose; 8 great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Josh, Gracie and Addison Gose, Nadia and Layla Baird, and Ian and Nolan Gillespie; and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
