Graveside service is 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Aurora Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Pallbearers include Terry Harvey, Bruce Steele, Randy Wilson, Jeremy Wilson, Corbin Wilson, John Doshier, Barry Harvey, and Ronnie Harvey. Honorary Pallbearer Tony Dickey and Chris Harvey.
Harold was born on April 21, 1930 in Newark, Texas to P.L and Ima (Ford) Harvey. He was united in marriage to Peggy Ewing on July 21, 1949 in Rhome, Texas. He owned and operated Harvey's Cafe in Rhome for 26 years and later worked for Boeing Electronic where he retired. He was a former member of the Wise County Sherriff's Posse, the Rhome Masonic Lodge, and the Shriner's Organization.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Peggy Harvey; his son, Terry Harvey and fiance' Fiorella Garcia Rojas; 2 daughters, Karan Wilson and husband Randy, and Donna Steele and husband Bruce; his grandsons, Jeremy Wilson, and Corbin Wilson and wife Brooke; his granddaughter, Tara Doshier and husband Jon; his great-grandchildren, Caroline and Cooper Doshier and Lindsey Tetter; his brother, Ronnie Harvey and wife Sue; his sister, Norma Jean Matthews; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; a son, Ronald Fritz Harvey; granddaughter, Kindi Lynn Wilson; and a brother, Jerry Harvey.

Uncle Harold is included in a lot of happy memories of my childhood. I am glad that I was able to tell him that I loved him and would pray for him before he became so sick. He will be missed. I pray for comfort for his family.

When I think of Harold I always remember bottled Cokes and Summer Sausage. He was a fantastic man and someone I always looked up to. I know Ivan, Jerry, Monty Paul and P.L. were up there waiting for him at the gates. He is in good company. God Bless.
