Harold Dean Love

Bridgeport~ Harold Dean Love, 69, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, June 9, 2020 in Bridgeport.

Funeral Service is 5:00 p.m. Sunday, June 14, 2020 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport with private burial in DFW National Cemetery. Family will receive friends 3-5  p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Pallbearers are to include Mike Meza, Jason Harvick, Carlton Schlomach, John Burden, Lowell Henning and Russell Robinson.

Harold was born on August 27, 1950 to Troy and Goldie (Corbell) Love in Seminole, Oklahoma. He was united in marriage to Joy Lynne Cook on April 30, 1983 in San Antonio, Texas. Harold was  a veteran and proudly served our country in the United States Air Force. He was employed by Richardson Aviation and Citijet. Harold was a retired pilot and mechanic who loved working on all types of airplanes. Airplanes and flying was always a huge part of his life and his favorite hobby when he wasn’t spending time with family and aviation friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Tommy and Troy Love.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 37 years, Joy Love of Bridgeport; his two sons, Doug Patterson and Jason Graham and wife Deirdre of Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Dustin and Jordan Patterson and Carter Graham; numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
