Harold Ray Walker

Springtown~ Harold Ray Walker, 74, went to be with our Lord Thursday, June 11, 2020 in Ft. Worth.

Funeral is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Boyd burial in Ash Creek Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Rev. Billy Gay will officiate.

Harold was born on February 1, 1946 to G.A. and Jessie Ola (East) Walker in Decatur, Texas. He was united in marriage to Dana Lynn Jones on March 17, 2000 in Reno, Texas. Harold was Fire chief for 25 years at La Junta Fire Department and worked for many years in drywall and building construction.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife Cynthia Kay Walker, his sister, Cecilia Walker and his best friend Boss.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 20 years Lynn Walker of Springtown; 3 daughters, Rhonda Walker of Springtown, Christie Coleman of Springtown, Jody Bailey of McLean; 3 sons, Chris Walker and wife Angel of Weatherford, Rhonie Walker and wife Rachel of Azle, Monte Cryer of Shamrock; 26 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren with 2 on the way; his brother, G.A. Walker and wife Diann of Burleson; his best friends, Whiskers, Gypsie, B.J., J.D., Lucy, Ranger, Dove and Bandit; numerous extended family members and a host of friends.

In lieu of flowers if so inclined, you may donate to the Russ Martin Fallen Firefighter Fund. The RMS Foundation supports the families of the Dallas/Fort Worth Police officers and Firefighters who have courageously fallen in the line of duty.
