Harold Gene Wesley

Bridgeport~ Harold Gene Wesley, 66, of Bridgeport went to be with our Lord Tuesday, July 28, 2020 in Fort Worth.

Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 31, 2020 at Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd with burial in Boyd Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Rev. David Wilson and Rev. Milton Owens will officiate. Pallbearers include Scott Klippel, John Hambrick, Randy Wesley, Mathias Dressler, James Kittrell, and Sam Baker.

Harold was born June 23, 1954 in Lockney, Texas and raised by Bill and Barbara Kittrell of Nacogdoches. He was a veteran and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Harold was united in marriage to Patricia Kay Simpson on December 3, 2016. in Haltom City, Texas. After his military service, he went on to be an aircraft mechanic and Supervisor for Union Pacific Railroad.

He was preceded in death by Bill Kittrell; his mother, Bobbie Sue Carey; and his grandparents, Loyd and Lola Withrow.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Patricia Simpson Wesley of Bridgeport; his twins, son, Randall Wesley of San Diego and daughter Amanda Zagozda and husband Daniel of Ft. Worth; his daughter, Angel Burdine of Bridgeport; his step-sons, Lonnie and John Hambrick and wife Amber; 4 grandchildren, Faith, Kathryn, Addison, and Caleb; his brothers, James Kittrell and wife Brenda of Nacogdoches and Billy Kittrell of Pennsylvania; his sister, Glynda Kittrell of Nacogdoches; his mother, Barbara Kimbrough and husband Marion of Nacogdoches, numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
