Decatur ~ Harvey Lee Bouldin, Jr., 60, went to be with our Lord Sunday, May 10, 2020 in Decatur, Texas.
Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 14, 2020 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Decatur with burial in Pleasant Grove #1 cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
William Brooks and Van Gardner will officiate. Pallbearers will include Wayne Stone, Severo Aranda, Shane Tackett, Hippie Smith, Jeff McGuire, Jason Wingert, Randy Potter "Little Randy"and Andy Woods
Harvey was born June 2, 1959 to Harvey Lee and Chloe Merline (McNeil) Bouldin in Wichita Falls, Texas. He was in the graduating Class of 77 at Decatur High School. Harvey was united in marriage September 29, 1978 to Mildred Smith in Decatur, Texas. He worked for Wise County for 28 years, retiring as a foreman for Precinct 4, and a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Harvey was an avid hunter, trapper, and fisherman. He was an excellent pool player, Harvey played with the Azle Good Ole boy pool league. Harvey loved his family and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 41 years, Mildred Bouldin of Rhome; his daughters, Misty Bouldin of Rhome and Kristy Hammons and husband Ronnie of Decatur; his son, Kevin Bouldin and wife Johnna of Decatur; his grandchildren, Clayton Hammons, Chloe Hammons, and Bryson Bouldin; his sister, Cordelia “Sissy” Foster of Decatur; numerous extended family and a host of friends.
