MIDLAND -- Helen Jo Halman, 79, a homemaker, died Saturday, April 29, 2006 in Midland. Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Morris Memorial United Methodist Church in Chico. Burial: Chico Cemetery. Mrs. Halman was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Haskel A. Halman in Jan. 1978, her parents, John and Lura Terrell Sullivan, son, Phillip Halman and 2 sisters. Survivors: Son, Jimmy Halman and wife Helen of Midland; daughters, Sammie Halman of Frisco and Christy Hatfield and husband Jeff of Busnell, FL; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Marie Halman of Frisco; nephew, Robert Largent; and nieces, Sandra Lackey, Shirley Smith and Sue Fudgette.
