Helen (Moore) Walton

Springtown ~ Helen Walton, 90, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord Thursday, May 8, 2014 in Azle.

Funeral is 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at Azle Church of Christ with burial in Azleland Cemetery . Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Home.

Bro. Ian Mostert will officiate. Pallbearers include Monte Moore, Dwayne Simon, Tom Scarborough, Andy Walton, Cody Walton, and Brad Walton.

Helen was born on June 1, 1923 to Alva and Lena (Leck) Moore in Cleburne , Texas . She was united in marriage to Dennis Walton on June 22, 1946 Waco . She was a member of the Church of Christ in Azle.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Norene Wachsmann, Gladine Brown, and Edna Mae Page; her brother, A.C. Moore; her grandson, J.B. Walton; and her daughter-in-law, Kathy Walton.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 67 years, Dennis Walton of Springtown; her sons, Jim Walton and wife Candy of Azle, Wayne Walton and wife Cindy of Colleyville, and Don Walton of Fort Worth; her daughter, Janis Walton Sonntag and husband Michael of Azle; 8 grandchildren; 12 great Grandchildren; her sisters, Lena Parnell of Waco, Mary Etta Johnson of North Carolina, and Beth Grimland of Waco; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
