Alvord ~ Helen Louise Yale, 73, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord Monday, May 8, 2017 in Decatur.
Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 11, 2017 at First Baptist Church Alvord with burial in Alvord Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Rev. Bill Cleveland will officiate. Pallbearers include Colton Redman, Crese Redman, Casey Selby, Hunter Yale, Danny Neighbors, Mike Shaw, Greg Shaw and Randy Neighbors. Honorary Pallbearers are Eddie Hale, Tommy Hampton, David Richey, Mike Lemond, Kevin Lemond, Rusty McClure, and Frank Hobb.
Helen was born on June 15, 1943 to Lester and Louise (Garrett) Neighbors in Fort Worth, Texas. She was united in marriage to Marion Yale on June 15, 1961 in Alvord. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Alvord.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Joyce Shaw.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 55 years, Marion Yale of Alvord; her son, Tim Yale and wife Sheila of Alvord; her daughter, Kim Redman and husband Terry of Alvord; her grandchildren, Chelsi, Colton, Crese, Caroline, Hunter; her great granddaughter, Sailor Grace Redman; her brother, Melton Neighbors and wife Doris of Alvord, her sister, Loyce Garrett and husband Pat of Alvord; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
