Henry was born September 22, 1938 to Henry and Mary Dean (Smith) Kratz in Louisville, Kentucky. He served his country in the U.S. Army and married Floradine Bishop on March 14, 1965 in Dallas. He was a member of the Wise County Fossil Club and a member of the Decatur Church of Christ.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Flora Kratz of Decatur; his sons, Darrell Kratz of Midlothian and Barry Kratz of Mesquite; his daughters, Diana Mosley and Jacquelyn Kratz both of Decatur; his brothers, Willie Kratz of Warner Robins, Georgia, and Mike and David Kratz both of Chelsea, Alabama; his sisters, Mary Louise Mitchell and Nettie Collum both of Chelsea, Alabama; 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; other relatives and a host of friends.
