Henry Jeanne (Anderson) Wolfe

Henry Jeanne Wolfe, 88, went to be with our Lord Thursday, April 18th, 2024 in Decatur, Texas.

Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Friday at Boyd Church of Christ with burial at Pleasant Grove #2 Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8:00 p.m. Thursday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd.

Craig Jordan will officiate. Pallbearers include Clinton Wolfe, Randy Holmes, Jim Bob Hampton, Randy Hinkle, Joe Jackson, J.D. Landry. Honorary Pallbearer is Leon Coleman.

Jeanne was born February 12th, 1936 to Edwin Beal and Orel Norwood (Griffith) Anderson in Flatwood, Texas. She was united in marriage March 7th, 1953 to Charles Franklin “Charlie” Wolfe in Weatherford, Texas. Jeanne graduated Boyd High School and was a member of the Boyd Church of Christ. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend to many who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Charles “Charlie” Wolfe; a son, Jon Wolfe; and her sister, Jo Ellen Martin of Gorden, Nebraska.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Steve Wolfe and wife Sarah of Boyd; her daughter, Noelle Holmes and husband Rodney of Boyd; grandchild, Chris Wolfe of Boyd; great-grandchildren, Lane Wolfe, and Dakota Wolfe of Boyd; niece’s, Cori Hastings and husband Larry of Cheyenne, Wyoming, and Glenna Sherfey and husband Lyle of Lisco, Nebraska; numerous cousins, and a host of friends.
