Herlinda Ochoa

Decatur ~ Herlinda Ochoa, 75, of Decatur went to be with her Lord Sunday, June 7, 2020 in Decatur, Texas.

Funeral is 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 11, 2020 at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur. Family will receive friends 6 - 8 p.m. Wednesday at Hawkins Funeral Home.

Herlinda was born July 12, 1944 to Julio and Jesus Maria (Villegos) Perez in Cuauhtemoc, Mexico.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Luis Ochoa; her sons, Ygnacio Ochoa and Luis Ochoa, Jr.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Martin Ochoa of Laredo and Lionel Ochoa of Decatur; daughters, Socorro Strickland of Longmont, Colorado, Elda Acosta and husband Arturo of Perryton, and Monserrat Reyes and husband Martin of Decatur; 17 grandchildren, Carla, Trista, Michael, Isabel, Briselda, Jorge, Marcos, Elizabeth, Mario, Victoria, Yadira, GianCarlos, Noah, Abigail, Xavier, Juvenal, and Jasmine; 5 great grandchildren, Kinley, Rylan, Gracelynn, Houston, and Cash Kilian; 4 sisters, Angela Perez, Josefina Perez, Jesus Perez, and Maria Reyez Perez; 2 brothers, Alvino and Reymundo Perez; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
