Temple ~ Herman Edward McCasland, 75, formerly of Bridgeport, went to be with our Lord Friday, June 20, 2014 in Temple, Texas.
Graveside memorial service is 10:30 a.m. Saturday June 28, 2014 at West Bridgeport Cemetery.
Rev. Gary Sessions will officiate.
Herman was born on March 10, 1939 to Ansel and Barbara McCasland in Bridgeport, Texas. He was united in marriage to Cherry Bell. Herman proudly served his country United States Army. He was a disabled veteran and a retired truck driver and instructor. Herman cherished spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Bertha Crosen and Dorothy Andrew; and his brother, Marlin McCasland.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of more than 40 years, Cherry McCasland; his sons, Andy McCasland, and Marlin McCasland; his grandson, Collin McCasland; his brother, Barney McCasland; his sisters, Wanda Forms, and Barbara McCormick; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, and a host of friends.
