Haslet ~ Hershell Dean Spruill, 67, owner of a landscaping company, went to be with our Lord Friday, March 11, 2016 in Decatur.
A memorial gathering will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel.
Hershell was born on January 4, 1949 to Hershell and Marion (Staley) Spruill in Lindsay, Oklahoma. He was united in marriage to Linda Sue Butts on December 29, 1973 in Dallas.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 42 years, Linda Sue Butts Spruill of Rhome; his sons, Jason Michael Spruill and wife Tinny of Haslet and Cooper Spruill of Haslet; his grandson, Jes Spruill of Haslet; his mother, Marion Irene Spruill of Euless; his sister, Betty Dalton of Euless; his niece, Jenifer Crownover and husband Brian of Fort Worth; other family members and a host of friends.
