Greenwood: Hester Lorene Williams, 92, homemaker, went to be with our Lord, Monday, October 1, 2012 in Fort Worth.
Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 4th at Greenwood Baptist Church with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Rev. Tracey Epting will officiate. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Pallbearers include Josh Culbertson, Cody Culbertson, Austin Stubbs, Kirby Stubbs, and Brandon Culbertson.
Hester was born on November 4, 1919 to John and Margie (Campton) Harvey in LaFlore, Oklahoma. She was united in marriage to Luther Eili Williams in 1935 in Whiteboro, Oklahoma. Hester was a past president of Decatur Quilting Club, a long time member of Greenwood Extension Education Club, and Greenwood Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her daughter, Margie Culbertson; her grandson, Randy Culbertson; and 4 sisters.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Jimmy Williams of Greenwood and Jerald Williams of Lincoln, California; her grandchildren, Ricky, Ronnie, Donna, Laura, Amy, Melisa, Shelly, and Jerald; her brother, Kenneth Harvey of Nevada; her sister, Helen Ruth Salgado of Nevada; other family members and a host of friends.
