Hilda (Davis) Jordan

Denton ~ Hilda Jordan, 96, formerly of Decatur went to be with her Lord Tuesday, February 19, 2019 in Denton, Texas.

Memorial service is 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 2,  at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Decatur.

Hilda was born July 2, 1922 to Charles and Ione (Thelkeld) Davis in Madison County, Georgia. She married Harry Jordan on April 27, 1941 in Madison County. Hilda worked as a teacher's aide for many years for Decatur I.S.D.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Kay Severson of Arlington; son, Chester Alan Jordan and wife Jeannine of Decatur; grandchildren, Brian Severson, Shannon Trifiletti, Justin Jordan, and Casey Jordan; great-grandchildren, Meagan, Chloe, Ian, Lucas, Michaela, Kyra, Naomi, Reagan, and Aaron; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; 2 brothers; and 3 sisters.
