Hobert Lee Banks, Jr.

Decatur ~ Hobert Lee Banks, Jr. went to be with our Lord Tuesday, February 8, 2022.

Celebration of Life is  4-8 p.m. Friday, February 18th at 352 CR 1260, Decatur, Texas.

Hobert was born October 6, 1932 to Hobert Lee, Sr. and Minnie M. (Bowman) Banks in Willow, Oklahoma. He was united in marriage October 12, 1951 to Sandra Lee Parker in Pampa, Texas. Hobert was retired from Winn Dixie after many years as a maintenance supervisor. He was a beloved loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend to many who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hobert, Sr. and Minnie Banks; his wife of 69 years, Sandra Lee Banks; and sister, Mary Clark.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughter, Sherry Pearson of Lamesa; his sons, Deryl Banks of Trophy Club, and Mark Banks and wife Tammy of Portland, Texas; 8 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; numerous extended family members, a host of friends and all his flying buddies.
