Granbury ~ Homer Gene Derryberry, 77, a retired drywall installer, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, March 1, 2017 in Granbury.
Graveside service is 3 p.m. Friday, March 3, 2017 at Boyd Cemetery. No visistation.
Homer was born on June 20, 1939 to Bryan and Johnnie (Nelson) Derryberry in Paris, Texas. He was united in marriage to Shirley Derryberry. Homer served our country in the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters; Marie Jackson, Frankie Jo Gardner, Louise Reed, Nettie Mae Johnson, and Jetyes Jo Boyter; and his brothers, Bryan Derryberry and Jimmy Dale Derryberry.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his son, Bill Derryberry and wife Brenda; his grandchildren, Tiffany Derryberry, Robert Derryberry, and Amanda Derryberry; his great grandchildren, Lily, Lane, Corbin, Ridley, Noah, and Rider; other family members and a host of friends.
