Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 31, 2016 at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.
Hope was born April 27, 1964 to Leonard and Delores (Garrett) Carrol in Yale, Oklahoma. She married Harold Gene Burge on May 13, 2000 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Hope worked as a claims specialist for TransAmerica Life Insurance Company.
She was preceded in death by her father, Leonard Carrol; her mother, Delores Garrett; and her sisters, Pamela Smith and Lynn Pruitt.
Left behind to cherish her memory is her husband of 15 years, Gene Burge of Rhome; her sisters, Sandra Ridling of Alexander, Arkansas, Debbie Smith of Wright, Wyoming, and Connie Lambert of Alexander, Arkansas; her brothers, Ben Smith of Pampa, Texas and Joe Smith of Gillette, Wyoming; 4 step children and 5 step grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
