Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 31, 2008, in Oaklawn Cemetery, with Rev. Johnny Irish officiating.
Hope was a homemaker, a member of P.E.O. Sisterhood, and the First United Methodist Church of O'Fallon, Illinois.
She was born February 22, 1918, in Humansville, MO. to Shell and Elda McCall. She married in 1942, to Lt. Col. Charles O. "Chuck" Peden in Seattle, WA.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Cheryl Fostel of Decatur; son, Gregory Peden of Shiloh, Illinois; three grandchildren; Christopher Fostel of Gainesville, Texas; Joshua Fostel and wife Katey of Abilene, Texas, and Kate Gilmore and husband, Adam of Frisco, Texas; and three great-grandchildren, Karli, Laney and Layla Fostel.

Hope is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Lt. Col. Charles O. "Chuck" Peden; her parents, Shell and Elda McCall; and three (3) brothers, Keith, Basil and Sheldon McCall.
