Decatur: Howard Glen Fox, 80, a retired machinist, went to be with our Lord, Saturday, March 19, 2011 in Decatur.
Graveside service is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 23rd at Ash Creek Cemetery in Azle, Texas with Reverend Ken May officiating. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Pallbearers include Michael Fox, Scott Fox, Donald Fox, James Johnson, Jay Johnson, Jeffrey Fox, Matt Fox and Eric Fox.
Howard was born December 31, 1930 in Hawkins, Texas to Elmer Carl and Ollie Hester (Gaskey) Fox. He married Imogene Thomas on August 27, 1949 in Fort Worth. Howard retired from O.B. Macaroni in Fort Worth.
Left behind to cherish his memory is his wife of 61 years, Imogene Fox of Decatur; two daughters, Barbara Foster and Lisa Fox both of Decatur; two sons, Steve Fox of Decatur and Alan Glen Fox of Burleson; 19 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; sister, Betty Smith; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Howard is preceded in death by his parents and two sons, Jeffrey and Donald Fox.
