Idalia was born on March 21, 1990 in Piedra Negras Coahuila, Mexico to Jesus Cruz and Maria Dolores (Zamora) Gomez. She graduated from Decatur High School.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her parents; two brothers, Jose and Sergio Gomez; three sisters, Nancy, Alondra and Valeria Gomez.
Idalia is preceded in death by her grandparents, Cruz Gomez, Maria Ciula Gonzales, Jose Zamora, and Marcelina Arredondo.
