Funeral is 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 27th at Pleasant View Baptist Church in Bridgeport with burial in West Bridgeport Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Hawkins Funeral Home.
Rev. Gary Dimmit will officiate. Pallbearers include Aaron Edington, Curt Edington, Michael Swindle, Kail Swindle, John Simpson, and Austin Lacy.
Idell was born on March 10, 1928 to James and Estella (Whitsett) Bailey in Malakoff, Texas. She was united in marriage to Jack Swindle on May 4, 1946 in Dallas. He preceded her in death in 2005. Idell was a homemaker and worked in the cafeteria at Wilshire Elementary School. She was a member of the Pleasant View Baptist Church, Women
