Imogene (Thomas) Fox

Decatur ~ Imogene Fox, 88, went to be with our Lord Monday, March 1, 2021.

Graveside Service is 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 5, 2021 at Ashcreek Cemetery in Azle, Texas. Celebration of Life is 2:30 p.m. Friday, March 5, 2021 at First Baptist Church in Decatur. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Dr. David Lowrey will officiate. Pallbearers will include Michael Fox, Scott Fox, Donald Fox, James Johnson, Jay Johnson, Jeffery Fox, Alex Hodges, Eric Fox, and Matt Fox.

Imogene was born October 18, 1932 to William Penn and Pearl Anne (Reeves) Thomas in Pensacola, Florida. She was united in marriage August 27, 1947 to Howard Glen Fox. Imogene was a member of First Baptist Church in Decatur. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend who will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Pearl Thomas; her husband, Howard Fox; her sons, Jeffery Dwain Fox, Alan Glen Fox, and Donald Fox; a brother and a sister.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are, her daughters, Barbara Foster of Decatur, and Lisa Renee Gourley and husband Michael of Bowie; her son Steve Fox of Burleson; 13 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
