Alvord ~ Imogene Rose Parker went to be with our Lord Thursday, July 9, 2020 in Alvord, Texas
Graveside service is 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 11, 2020 in Alvord Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday, July 10, 2020 at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.
Bill Cleveland will officiate.
Imogene was born February 8, 1927 to Clifton Reeves and Dora Mrytle (Foley) Presley in Reed, Oklahoma. She was united in marriage February 17, 1945 to Fred Foscue Parker, Jr. in Mangum, Oklahoma. Imogene worked for Avemco Aircraft for many years as an aircraft insurance adjuster and was a member of First Baptist Church in Alvord.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifton and Myrtle Presley; her brothers, Gordon, Earl, and John Presley; her sisters, Lela Mae Bolding, Naomi Thompson, Bertis Kelly, and Nina Cotton.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 75 years, Fred Parker, Jr. of Alvord; her children Randy Parker and wife Judy of Bowie, Vickie Gray and husband Johnny of North Richland Hills, Robert Kim Parker of Saginaw, and Dorinda Brown and husband Rickey of Garner; 8 grandchildren, Tammi Champlin, JoBeth Schriber, Amy McCoola, Misti Menchaca, Brandi Cienega, Rickey Brown Jr., Joshua Parker, and Shon Parker; 15 great-grandchildren, Reece Morgan and wife Kyra, Colby Schriber, Jadon Menchaca, Landry Champlin, Zack Gilmore, Annalise Schriber, Rickey Brown III, Kynley Menchaca, J.T. Cienega, Grayson Champlin, Angelina Brown, Carly Cienga, Hannah Cienga, Bryce McCoola, and Henlee McCoola; extended family and a host of friends.
