To my cousin's Roy, Buddy, Dennis, Tom, Fern, Judy and Ada. I am so honored to have been at Aunt Glad's Celebration of Life service today, Friday July 29, 2011. The service was beautiful. She was my favorite and I will miss seeing her on her birthday every July 4th weekend. I wish I had been there for her 99th birthday, but I will have memories of her until we meet again in Heaven.

Love, Your Cousin,

Wanda Eddlemon Taylor

Sending my deepest sympathy & loving prayers to the family and loved ones of "Mom" Thornton. She was like a mother to me and others who were friends of the family. The smile on her face in this final photo says it all. Her smile and laughter came from her really big heart. She was a truly good woman who freely shared her love of people and her zest for life! Although her presence will be missed deeply by all who knew & loved her, her spirit will continue to be felt as we hold & cherish our memories. May we be comforted & find peace in those memories of her laughter & love.

I'm sorry I've been out of touch for so long and am just now discovering the loss of your mother. She was a great lady, and she had good kids.
