Isabel Delgado

Chico ~ Isabel Delgado, 70, went to be with our Lord Sunday, May 21, 2023 in Chico.

Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Thursday at St. John the Baptizer Catholic Church with burial at Chico Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.

Pallbearers are Damian Delgado, Sydney Delgado, Jacob Delgado, Miranda Garcia, Marcus Delgado, and Amaya Garcia. Honorary Pallbearers include Julian Cuevas, Vanessa Cuevas, Sofia Delgado, and Reagan Delgado.

Isabel was born on July 8, 1952 to Natividad and Gregoria (Gallegos) Najera in Fresnillo Zacatecas, Mexico. She was united in marriage to Pedro Delgado on December 30, 1973 in Fresnillo Zacatecas. Isabel was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and a friend to many who will miss her dearly.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 49 years, Pedro Delgado; her daughters, Asucena Garcia of Chico and Aracely Cuevas of Chico; her sons, Arturo Delgado and wife Sharon of Bridgeport, Armando Delgado and wife Andrea and Alex Delgado and wife Jessica of Chico; her brothers, Manuel Najera of Mexico and Modesto Najera of New Mexico; 10 grandchildren; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
